WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was injured Thursday night in a shooting that occurred in the 5200 block of Just Street, Northeast, leaving him in and out of consciousness but breathing, police said.

The incident was reported to the Metropolitan Police Department shortly after 9:50 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene and located the victim. As of 10:05 p.m., authorities said the man was receiving medical attention.

No further details about the circumstances of the shooting or possible suspects have been released.
