DC robbery sparks search for teens in school uniforms

WASHINGTON, DC — Three juveniles are being sought in connection with a robbery Wednesday afternoon in the 4800 block of Meade Street NE, leaving investigators working to track down the suspects.

The incident occurred at about 4:30 pm, and the suspects fled the scene after the robbery. One suspect, described as a 17-year-old Black male, was last seen wearing a gray ski mask, black top, and tan school uniform pants. The other two suspects, both Black males around 16 years old, were last seen wearing black tops and tan school uniform pants.

Officials have not disclosed further details about the robbery but are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspects. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
