Gunmen escape after targeting victims in bold DC attack

WASHINGTON, DC — Two suspects involved in a shooting and armed robbery Friday evening in Northeast DC remain at large as police seek help from the public to identify them and their vehicle.

The incident occurred around 5:48 p.m. on the 5700 block of 2nd Street NE, where both suspects brandished firearms, fired shots in the direction of victims, and stole their property before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the suspects or their vehicle is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
