MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Authorities have charged multiple individuals in connection with a multi-jurisdictional conspiracy involving residential burglaries, vehicle thefts, and fencing operations, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.
Between September and December 2024, Tyshawn Hoover, Samad Foster, Deeend Coleman-McRae, Zayanna Overby, a juvenile, and other unidentified co-conspirators allegedly orchestrated thefts across several counties. Prosecutors say Hoover and Foster acted as ringleaders of the operation.
Investigators used search warrants, surveillance footage, and mobile device records to place the suspects at the scene of a September 20, 2024, burglary in Florham Park. In that case, two individuals reportedly entered a residence, stole a key fob, and made off with a 2023 Land Rover, which Hoover later fenced.
Hoover and Foster are also accused of involvement in a November 20, 2024, attempted burglary and vehicle theft, also in Florham Park. In that incident, the suspects arrived in a stolen vehicle and attempted to access a 2022 Honda Civic and the residence by damaging a window screen. They fled after being interrupted.
The investigation was led by law enforcement from Morris, Union, and Essex counties, along with Florham Park and Denville police departments.
