BALTIMORE, MD — A 39-year-old man was found dead Tuesday night after being shot multiple times in the Eastern District, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Mayfield Avenue at approximately 9:19 p.m. in response to a ShotSpotter alert. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body and head. Medics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting but have not released further details about the circumstances or any potential suspects.
