PARMA, OH — A Parma woman turned a golf-themed Ohio Lottery EZPLAY ticket into a progressive jackpot worth $25,261 after scoring par or better on all nine holes in the game’s Going Pro feature.

The Ohio Lottery announced the winning ticket was purchased Tuesday, July 21, at Parma Tavern, located at 5680 Broadview Road in Parma.

The winner claimed a $25,261 progressive jackpot.

After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 26.75%, she will receive approximately $18,503.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the winner plans to use her prize to take a family trip and pay off bills.

Going Pro is an EZPLAY instant-style game generated through Ohio Lottery terminals. Everything needed to play is printed directly on each ticket.

The Ohio Lottery lists the overall odds of winning a Going Pro Progressive Jackpot prize at 1 in 4.55.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery says it has contributed more than $35 billion to education across the state.
