CARROLL, OH — A visit to Carroll for work turned into a $50,000 windfall for an Ohio Lottery player who purchased a winning Money Maker scratch-off ticket at Speedway #9226 on Winchester Road.

The winner, who stopped to refuel his car, decided to try his luck with the $30 Money Maker scratch-off. Upon scratching the ticket, he was surprised to find he had won $50,000. After taxes, he will take home approximately $36,000 and plans to invest his winnings.
