Police are searching for a group of suspects after five people, including two teenagers, were attacked during a violent confrontation in Queens that left an 18-year-old woman stabbed in the neck.

Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a group of suspects wanted in connection with a gang assault that injured five people in Long Island City earlier this month.

According to investigators, the attack occurred at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, near the intersection of 41 Road and 10 Street.

Five victims injured during attack

Police said a group of unidentified individuals approached two 18-year-old women, a 46-year-old woman, a 14-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl before a verbal dispute escalated into a violent assault.

During the altercation, an 18-year-old woman was stabbed on the right side of her neck with what investigators described as an unknown sharp object.

Authorities said the second 18-year-old woman and the 46-year-old woman suffered minor injuries to their heads and faces after being struck with a glass bottle. The 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy were also treated for minor injuries after being pepper-sprayed in the face and eyes.

NYPD asks public for help

The suspects fled the scene, and no arrests have been announced.
